Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to senior underwriting staff with administrative
duties related to new and renewal accounts, risk assessment, and
loss ratings
Conduct risk analysis by reviewing documentation and assessing loss
history to determine case acceptance
Collaborate with the underwriting team to process insurance
applications and manage customer inquiries efficiently
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience
required
CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a
plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn
industry-specific software quickly
Strong customer service experience and ability to work
collaboratively with team members
