Job Description:
A company is looking for a Geospatial Software Engineer to
support the operations of an earth observation constellation.
Key Responsibilities
Build scalable, automated data processing pipelines for scientific
data products from satellite sensor data
Optimize image processing pipelines for efficient computing
resource usage
Collaborate with engineers to implement new functionalities and
assess imagery products for accuracy and quality
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
Expert knowledge of Python
Expert knowledge of GDAL, OpenCV, or other image processing
libraries
Experience with remote sensing, photogrammetry, or GIS data
processing at scale
Experience building production software systems for cloud computing
deployments
