Job Description:
A company is looking for a Health and Benefits Underwriting
Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with underwriting activities, including collecting and
maintaining information associated with underwriting decisions
Review insurance applications and assist with computing rates and
premiums
Enter new group enrollment data into the online system and evaluate
group enrollment materials for completeness
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of previous insurance experience
1+ years of prior Underwriting Technician experience
Knowledge of the health insurance market
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint)
