Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Scientist focused on predictive
modeling to join their Actuarial team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy pricing, underwriting, and customer
demand models
Oversee end-to-end model development and application
Manage data collection, integration, cleaning, processing, and
transformation for modeling
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; or
a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of predictive modeling
experience
2+ years of experience in data science modeling development within
the insurance field
Experience with personal lines P&C insurance, preferably in
Homeowners business
Expertise in SQL and R or Python, and hands-on modeling experience
with large datasets
Industry expertise in predictive analytics tools and regression
models
