Job Description:
The College of Law invites expressions of interest in part-time
faculty teaching opportunities within the Legal Analysis, Research
and Communication program (LARC). The College of Law offers legal
drafting courses in the following areas:
-Civil Litigation
-Child and Family Law
-Criminal Law
-Health Law
-Intellectual Property
-Real Estate
-Transactions
-Trusts & Estates
Opportunities are also available to teach general and advanced LARC
courses, including appellate brief writing and oral advocacy.
Applications are reviewed as needed when positions arise. If you
applied for an adjunct professor position prior to July 1, 2019,
you are encouraged to reapply using this new portal.
In order to best serve students, part-time faculty are expected to
perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that
are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member's
qualifications and the best interests of DePaul. Required
Qualifications: JD degree and at least 5 years of professional
experience in the legal field. Demonstrated expertise in a
particular area of law or legal study.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience in working in
