Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Interconnection to lead
interconnection activities from a market and commercial
perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the project portfolio of interconnection-related studies,
schedules, and follow-up requirements
Act as the primary contact with independent system operators and
utilities regarding interconnection activities
Evaluate interconnection system costs and collaborate with
stakeholders on project development schedules
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in generation interconnection and
transmission planning
Experience with markets such as CAISO, PJM, SPP, or ISO-NE
Familiarity with power system software packages and power flow
modeling
Demonstrated expertise in U.S. power markets, particularly in solar
and battery energy storage interconnections
