Wintrust Commercial Banking is looking for a dynamic Middle Market Commercial Lender to join our team. The right individual will have a proven track record in lending with 7+ years of experience working with Companies in Revenue $20 million - 300 million. This is an officer level position which requires proficiency in all areas of commercial banking, -superior credit skills, and customer service and negotiations skills as well as significant bank product knowledge. What you will be doing:
    • Manage existing commercial loan customer base and develop new business from referral sources and through cold calling efforts.
    • Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships.
    • Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client's business and personal needs.
    • Strong ability with work with internal credit partners to accurately represent opportunities, and ultimately negotiate proper loan structures and effectively cross-sell products.
    • Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans.
    • Maintains comprehensive understanding of current on commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices. Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field. -
      • 7-10 years experience in Commercial Banking and 3-5 years managing a portfolio of clients.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities. -
      • Strong analytical ability with effective written and verbal communication skills.
