continued development of our people. Position Overview As the Vice
President of Sales, Cameo for Business, you will be responsible for
developing and executing our sales strategy to capture market share
and drive revenue growth. You will lead a team of sales
professionals and be a key leader and voice in marketing and
product strategy. You will also be a key external face of Cameo for
Business and responsible for establishing relationships with key
players in the marketing industry and positioning our offerings
effectively in the market. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Enhance and continuously implement
a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Cameo for Business
products, identifying target markets, customer segments, and
competitive positioning.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing
sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability,
and continuous improvement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends,
customer needs, and opportunities for growth; adjust strategies
accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong
relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and
providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance
against targets, analyze metrics, and provide regular reports to
the executive team on sales activities and outcomes.
- Collaboration: Be a close partner with Cameo leadership and
marketing to align messaging and campaigns, ensuring consistent
branding and effective lead generation strategies.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our Cameo
for Business product and services, articulating their value
proposition to clients effectively. Work closely with the Cameo for
Business product team as the B2B product evolves to help prioritize
business needs and bring a brand-facing view and source of
feedback.
- Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to expand
our network, identify new business opportunities, and represent
Cameo for Business. What you bring to the table:
- Proven Track Record: You have a history of consistently
exceeding revenue targets and driving significant growth in
previous roles, demonstrating your ability to execute effective
go-to-market strategies. 8+ years of GTM leadership with experience
in enterprise SaaS, marketing, or agency experience.
- Team Building Expertise: With extensive experience in building
and scaling high-performing sales teams from the ground up, you
know how to identify, recruit, and develop top talent, fostering a
culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Strategic Vision: You possess a strong ability to develop and
articulate a clear business and sales strategy that aligns with
overall strategic objectives, ensuring the sales team is focused
and effective in executing that vision.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You leverage analytics and market
insights to inform your strategies, making data-driven decisions
that lead to actionable outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Client-Centric Approach: Your experience has instilled a deep
understanding of customer needs, enabling you to build strong
relationships and deliver tailored solutions that enhance client
satisfaction and loyalty.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You excel in collaborating with
marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies,
optimize processes, and ensure a seamless experience for
customers.
- Resilience and Adaptability: In the fast-paced startup
