Overview

business development and proposal activities and is responsible for
contracts administration, management and close-out of client
contracts. This role will sit primarily in the office.

Responsibilities
The Contract Manager will serve an integral role within the Legal
Department that supports Gilbane Building Company and its
subsidiaries. Among other things, the Contract Manager will provide
day-to-day contract administration and support to one or more
Divisions. This position will report to the Deputy General Counsel,
who is located in the Company's headquarters in Providence, Rhode
Island.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
A legal degree is not required for this position. The ideal
Contract Manager will possess solid academic credentials including
a bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience
or 7 years of Contract Manager experience. The ideal candidate will
have relevant prior experience in the construction and/or related
industries. Experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting
contracts and related instruments is essential. Excellent
organizational skills, attention to detail, strong proofing skills
and able to work in a fast-paced environment are a must. Proficient
with Microsoft Office Suite.
